Exercise Description: Lying Leg Raise

Specs: Muscles Worked: The primary muscles worked during leg raises are the Lower Abdominals. Secondarily are the Upper Abdominals, Obliques, and Hip Flexors.

Instruction: 1) Lay back down on a flat bench, with your hips on the end and legs hanging off. 2) By contracting your abdominals, lift your legs in the air, approximately 50cm past horizontal (where tension leaves the trained area). 3) Lower legs going 10cm past parallel for a deep stretch. 4) This is an excellent movement for targeting the lower abdominals.
